Horror movie fans are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Fear Street: Prom Queen on Netflix on May 23. Now, Netflix just announced another slasher movie will be added to the service on May 8th. That movie is Heart Eyes, which was released in theaters only two months ago!
Heart Eyes (2025) is a romcom/slasher (an elite genre mashup) about a serial killer who targets couples on Valentine’s Day. Two coworkers, Ally (Olivia Holt) and Jay (Mason Gooding) are mistaken for a couple by the killer. They then spend the holiday fighting for their lives.

Heart Eyes has gotten fairly positive reviews. Creepy Catalog has it ranked about midway through their “Best Horror Movies of 2025” list, saying “The kills are gory and the love story is charming.”
