If you’re like me, you hate to pick out what to watch.

It’s Monday night, you worked all day and all you want to do is chill. But then you scroll through your various streaming services for an hour before choosing the same thing you always watch. I get it, but there’s actually a bunch of cool stuff that you might want to press Play for instead. We’ve got a new thriller, some choice retro movies having their anniversary, and streaming lists you shouldn’t miss.

Check out the new Sydney Sweeney thriller, Echo Valley

Released last Friday on Apple TV+, this moody thriller is about a mother (Julianne Moore) who has to help her estranged daughter (Sydney Sweeney) when she shows up on her doorstep covered in blood. The reviews are filtering in but there’s one big consensus that may make you want to put this on tonight: Echo Valley has a strong ending that leaves you on the edge of your seat until the credits roll. The Rotten Tomatoes rating is sitting at 58% right now, but if you’re a fan of twisty thrillers, it could be exactly what you need.

Big anniversaries: Lilo & Stitch, Before Sunrise, and more

Walt Disney

Everyone’s talking about the new live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch, and not exactly for good reasons. If you’re not a fan of the new movie or just want some nostalgia, watch the original on Disney+. It released on this exact day in 2002.

Also released on this day are classic romance film Before Sunrise in 1994 (on Amazon Video), shark thriller 47 Meters Down in 2017 (on Prime Video), and classic movie musical Grease in 1978 (on Amazon Video).

What we’re talking about

Nick and Charlie in Heartstopper

Watch Heartstopper for a wholesome queer romance series.

Happy streaming!
